COSCO New Zealand Ltd Container Detention Policy

COSCO (New Zealand) Ltd would like to remind our valued customers of our existing Container Detention Policy and applicable charges, for both Import & Export containers which as been in place since July 2008.

Please note that container detention is charged per calendar days, which includes Saturdays and Sundays, and is subject to GST.

"Day 1" refers to the day after vessel discharge, and ends on the day of empty return of our equipment into the applicable COSCO depot.

Please note that the container detention is charged per calendar days, which includes Saturdays and Sundays, and is subject to GST.

"Day 1" refers to the issue out date of the empty container, and ends on the advertised departure date of the vessel.

Please be reminded that unless arrangements have been made all detention invoices are payable on 7 day terms.
